Food pairing:
Putting aside the wet-earth, planting metaphors, flavours of plums and coffee abound. Stewed raspberries too with a blackberry finish. Lovely balance, mid-weight palate. Soft tannins making it suitable for drinking on its own but it is also versatile enough for food - I saw a note somewhere that mentioned 'smoked salmon, rich chicken casseroles'.
