Food pairing:
Hmm. A curious one.
Charged with lime and lychee with very little gooseberry that is such a trademark of Marlborough Sauvignon. Not a lot on the nose, but a big palate. Quite rich, fruity and tropical, with some curious chardonnay character to it.
It's nice, but it's not a Marlborough Sauvignon as I know it. As I was expecting gooseberry charged zinginess, I'm quite disappointed, particularly as I bought a case from Tesco wine website. I think it might be going back ...

I do like Montana Sauvignon Blancs for 'you know what you're getting', and this one is a bit softer and less acidic than the ordinary one but can get a bit boring.
