Food pairing:
Smells like cotton candy and berries. This seems a bit overextracted, and in addition to the spicy tannins and blackberries, some weird confectionery notes. Improves with decanting, but I doubt this could improve much over the long term. (14.3% alcohol; $30 at auction, $80 at winery for the current release; note from May 2008)
