Food pairing:
Dark, fruity and juicy on the nose. Mild, _mild_ sweet berries with a pinch of spice. Tastes like it could be as jammy as some Zins, but it doesn't go too far with the note. The jamminess is tamed by the other two varieties, but it is almost repressed. This wine... wants to have a bite to go with the sweet blackberry jam but doesn't. It's not a special wine, but it's entirely serviceable.
