Food pairing: Try this with shellfish in a creamy sauce like the wild Florida Prawns in Cocoanut Ginger Curry with pasta like I'm having tonight or maybe Coquilles St. Jaques.
Well, cat piss it most certainly ain't. Very pale in color; an explosive nose of wet, dried grass; bracing acidity. I haven't had this in a couple of vintages--I think the primary vineyard may have been replanted as the last version I drank was called "New Dog." This vintage is very reminiscent of earlier vintages of Cloudy Bay SB I've had.
