Food pairing: Salad or fresh fish or seafood.

Pale straw colour. Classic tell-tale gooseberry aromas, maybe a hint of lime or other citrus. Zesty, sharp but not unpleasant acidity, lively mid-palate. Very marked acidity on the finish, with interesting herbal dimension, reminiscent of fennel and lavender. Very enjoyable and good value.
