Food pairing: Spaghetti alla Gelovesa con Plonque
Went well with a nice heavy Spagetti, in which most of the ingredients were obtained from my own garden. Alas, I drank it alone, as I pondered my incipient old age. I should have been reading Eliot's Gerontion (or any Auden) with this wine. For the price it's a keeper! (unlike me)
I really must look for it again. If I manage to survive another year...
