Berry Bros. buy excess vintage port from producers and label it as their own, resulting in a cheap but usually very good quality port. In 1966, their vintage port came from Warre's.
Despite the cork being a little soggy, the coating over the cork seems to have ensured a good seal, and the port, in my opinion, is fantastic. Fairly light in colour, but has a fantastically rich sweet plummy flavour, with a hint of smoke.
Lots of sediment, but easily removed by decanting. Smells, looks and tates very alcoholic!
