Well - this is a pleasant surprise. The last Kiwi Chardonnay I tried was a disappointment but this is far more accomplished. Subtle, enveloping, seductive nose of banana and lychee, and then that unmistakeable creamy, buttery expression of New World Chardonnay. This is a decent wine. Rounded, sensual and velvety, reminiscent of white asparagus, mangoes and cream. Not bad at all. I got sent a "variety" case of New Zealand wines so expect more reviews!
