Food pairing: An apple or something. Or nothing.
As I feared... How is "unoaked" a characteristic of something? The actual name of the wine is telling you something that wasn't done to the wine, instead of some positive attribute; surely a bizarre symptom of insecurity on the part of the winemaker. Chardonnay is capable of incredible power and expression, and in this case what you get is a light, cheerful wine, quite steely (like Chablis, which is 100% Chardonnay), with some slightly green, unevolved nuances, and a pleasant, interesting biscuity aftertaste. But on the whole it's a lemony, monolithic affair of little consequence. Not good value, unless you like things simple and unchallenging in life.
