Food pairing: Chocolate went down rather well!
Not as exciting as it could be. Sauvignon Blanc has great potential in the right climate and soil, and this seems to have failed. It's got the telltale notes of gooseberry and lychee but it's too acidic and sharp, and is even a touch carbonated, resulting in a rather unedifying experience. It's zesty and structured enough, though, for a passable experience at the price.
