Well it went well with fried hamburgers. (We were too lazy and impatient to light the BBQ charcoal. A hint, ladies!) but then what wouldn't go with hamburger.
Bajan cuisine is rather simple and straightforward. Of course, so am I.
As well, supermarket plonque is perfectly acceptable with local "delicacies". Alas, most of us are just in it for the alcohol content, aren't we?
OK, so this one had a slightly fruity (read "young") flavour and was rather low on tannins. But wotthehell, I'm not trying to turn my stomach into a leather jacket, eh?
BTW the alcohol was listed as 12.5%.. good enuf for me.
This wine would be popular at ANY BBQ! In Barbados, or North America. (Sorry, British wine snobs- you're excluded)
