Food pairing: Steamed shelfish: Not so much raw oysters, tends to accentuate metalic taste of oysters.
Great with shellfish steamed in wine. Rich, comparable with a Sauvignon Blanc without the searing acidity, making for a much more food frendly summer/ spring white.

Food pairing:
I can see why this wine won a silver medal at the IWC in 2006.
A lovely pale lemon to look at with intense tropical fruits on the nose and also in the mouth with a hint of lime afterwards. There is also a bit of weight.
My wine and grapes "bible" describes Albarino as a little like a lighter weight Viognier. I like it and will seek this grape out.
From Majestic, £8.49 per bottle or £7.49 if you buy 2.
