Thoroughly enjoyed the 2005 vintage of this rose the other day. I'll admit it's not really the time of year for roses (well, not for me anyway) but I'll certainly be stocking up on a few of these for the days when it is time to sit and drink in the garden.
Intense sweet strawberries on the nose so you expect a sweet taste in the mouth but it's not - it's pleasantly dry with just the right amount of acidity. There's also a hint of drying cherries. Scrumptious!
