Food pairing: Roast lamb
Lots of blackcurrants on the nose along with herbs, coffee and other aromas that just seemed to keep coming the more I sniffed. What complexity! And on the palate the balance of acidity and tannins was just right.
What a treat to taste a classic Bordeaux and an "old" one as well.
