Food pairing:
This felt like the new Spain. It had a depth due to its 12 months in oak but it still had enough fruit to make it feel very fresh. I'm not sure whether it is technically a Reserva or a Crianza but it was really good with a steak. After dinner we opened a second bottle and had while just sitting talking and it was equally good for that. Good value for money.
