Food pairing: Whatever you feel like. Pasta?
OK, back to the so-so Kiwi reds... Colour nothing special, aroma... Well, I'm struggling to find a suggestion of *anything* other than just "wine". Blindfolded I would say just "wine", rather than "beer" or "orange juice". So a zero on the aromatic front. However on the palate we have something else. It's got a nice strawberry fruit thing happening, with hints of leather and oak, a touch of vanilla and banana and soft brambly forest fruit. It's a tad watery and thin, but it's got a certain appeal. Rounded, velvety finish. Not bad. Will I remember it after this day? No. Will I buy it again? No.
