Food pairing: tuna steaks
A steal at this price - local varieties Arinto and Fernão Pires combined into a crisp, lightly herby, peppery-edged white wine with a nice weighty mouth-feel (a touch of sweetness perhaps) and food friendly texture. Citrus and tropical flavours abound with a tweak of spice and grapefruit. The length isn't bad for a wine at this price either. The aromatics of the Fernão Pires come though wonderfully.
